The 2006 ZX-6RR was the race-homologated 599 cc ZX-6R, built in limited numbers for serious track use. It had an aerodynamic fairing, an under-seat muffler, a slipper clutch and inverted forks. Its engine and chassis were tuned for track work rather than road comfort.
